why 2 ER and not 6 for cliff lee?

Bonderman and Lee are both out of the game. 6-6 right now in the 4th. The Tigers have managed to spoil another decent spot start. Lee's final line:

3 innings, 4 hits, 6 runs, 2 earned runs, 3 bb's.

Bonderman gave up 6 earned runs, but won't get tagged with a loss in this one. Still trying to avoid the record books.

Why was he only credited for 2 ER? I was hoping he'd get all six, as the guy in 1st started him.

They had a couple of errors. No ER's when an error is involved.

Yea, a couple of errors led to some of the runs. So only 2 er instead of 6.
