Mike Cameron - value just went up?

this guy has been great the last 2 months, while fellow outfielder brian giles has been struggling. today bruce bochy switched up the order and batted giles 2nd, and cameron 3rd... giles is known for getting on base and dave roberts has been a good leadoff man all year. with cameron hitting 3rd behind them, i think hes now worth being owned in all formats. yeah he went 0-5 tonight but he was making contact and was a foot short of a homerun. im predicting a big upcoming week from mike cameron

Too bad I'm in a league that counts hitter's K's. I've been watching him though as he's been on FA during this stretch but those K's will kill me in my H2H matchups.

Well...he is hot right now.

Cameron is a streaky hitter and I wouldn't be surprised if he hits .250 in September. He Ks quite a bit and the Pads offense is not exactly Yankee-like. You gotta ride the hot streak though.

Sadly, the Pads are back to not scoring any runs, so Cameron is just getting empty hits. Those are nice, but I could use some runs and RBI's too

He'll still get some SB and hit a few solo shots....I'm predicting year end totals of 24 HR and 25 SB...I'll take that any day.

yeah, the K's will kill you. I needed a spot start for an OF on one of those days last week and i picked up cameron. he went 0-5 with 4 k's. and i think he had good career numbers against the starting pitcher.

I wouldn't call it an increase in his value. It could switch back next week. Bochy is just trying to get the bats going again after that depressing roadtrip. Changing things up, trying to find something that works, thats all. Its never permanent.

dont expect anything more than .250 in the avg. dept. as that is his career batting avg and you'll be fine.
