Anyone else about to give up on this guy? I have him riding the bench in one league and still starting in another (only 3 bench spots). Only reason I have him still is that he is 1b eligible and there is nothing of interest out there.
It looked like he was going to burst onto the scene this year, but then he reverted back to the Swisher of 2005. I don't see it happening this year, maybe next year I guess

What I was hearing around in Oakland, he has been ill for almost a month that he has been quiet about. He says now he is completely healthy. I dont know if it just an excuse but the guys personality seems like he doesn't bull around
He has been pretty awful lately...well, since June.
He has never really hit for average, but the power is legit. I don't know if he can turn around this year, but he is a valuable guy in keeper leagues. His OPS is higher than last year, which is a good thing for his Runs total if the A's let him hit on the 2 spot.
Well he always had power, but his average has been questionable. He's settled in a lot more this year and was off to a great start but fell ill late June/early July and lost a lot of weight during the span of it. He's regained that now and is reaching 100% health. He should pick it up again, if not to the same as the beginning.
