Pujols?

Postby Bo_Sox » Fri Aug 04, 2006 4:27 pm

What's his deal lately? Is his elbow still hurting him? Oblique?

I just traded for him so I am just hoping he comes through for me!

Benching Pujols would be a dumb move.

That being said, it would be nice for him to start producing so we can all lay this injury stuff to rest...

Well, I have Hafner and Howard as well as Pujols and I did bench him this week (can only play 2 of them).

Howard 4 HR 14 RBI .400
Hafner 3 9 .370
Pujols 0 0 .273

Pretty fathomable, and not all that dumb.
Just hoping Albert's OK, but until he starts whacking the ball again I'm not getting killed at least!

A HR and a steal today ... glad I didn't bench him.

word in the St. Louis media is his elbow is hurting him badly, though. To the point that he has trouble bending his arm at all.

As a Cards fan, I'm quite concerned no matter what he's done so far tonight.

Then again, the guy played through his plantar problems last year and won the MVP...

I wouldn't think you'd have much trouble selling high, but I still don't recommend doing it, whether or not that his elbow has been hurting him badly.
