Can he go 40/40

Terry Evans is already 30/30 this year in the minors. He's a little old for AA, at 24 yrs old, but he's really exploded this year. At the start of the season BA didn't even have him ranked in the top 30 St Louis prospects. He's now with the Angels, since being involved in the Weaver trade. His number are comparable to the top bats in the Texas league. Do you think he has a big league futur? on the juice?
Some scouts are saying he's for real, it just took him some time to reach his potential.

If a guy is already 30/30 in AA and hasn't been moved up to AAA or even the majors yet, that should tell you something??

There are always a handful of 24-26 year olds in AA or less who rip up the league but can't do much in AAA or when they get to the bigs.

With all that said I dont know much about Evans so he could be for real? I'm just a little curious as to why a 24 year old in AA that is performing that well hasn't been called up to at least AAA by now?

I agree with that, but I'd still be willing to take a chance on him when he comes up

perhaps the OF is too full in AAA and they want to leave him where he will get at bats?
