Rotonews is reporting that Hoffman will close for the rest of the year with Beck in middle relief. He should actually be worth something with Giles and Greene there now. The Pads may win some.

omigod, i was so due for this...biddle went down, byun-hyung went down (tho' he did get a save tonight, an' i'm about to spaz out about that on its own post), manny ramirez got drunk with a yankee and shawn green openly admitted his shoulder is falling off...

yeah that's my team. in the playoffs, man. trying to make something happen.
