im not too familiar with manips but its looks too stretched to me as well...but i do like the idea of it, keep workin ;-D

what exactly is a manip, compared to a sig?

I made a bet in 2003 that the Devil Rays would win the 2008 World Series. Oh so close.

im pretty sure it means just manipulating the picture, bo cutout or bg. Just different effects on a pic. Am i right or wrong?

Right. There's no cutting or bg's involved in a manip, just putting effects on one picture.
