What kind of features/functions would you like to have available if your Yahoo! league could be accessed year-round?
The fine folks at Yahoo! would like to know.
Think beyond the standard stuff -- message boards, trade proposals, designating keepers, etc. -- without getting too deep into niche features that only your league would benefit.
Is everyone at Yahoo from Pittsburgh? A salary system for those of us that use salaries would be nice, especially one that could be fairly customizable to fit most leagues' systems. Some kind of auction feature would be nice, too, especially for some of those slow auctions that take a good portion of the offseason.
A page that displays how long each team was in each positon (e.g. Team A was in first place 67% of the season, second place 21%, etc.)
A page where you could reference everyone's maximum games left.
A page that lists the cumulative numbers you received from each position (e.g. Team A used 7 1B over the season and their total numbers were...)
2008: 37th ranked Yahoo PLUS Rotisserie Public team (24 weeks in top 45, 9 weeks as #1) 2006: 18th ranked Yahoo PLUS Rotisserie Public team (17 weeks in top 35)
The ranks that Yahoo comes up with are not based on the scoring in your specific league. I'm in a league that doesn't count RBI. The rankings for all players for the season or the month or the week are the same in that league as in a league that does count RBI and there is no way that is correct. So, it's difficult to get a handle on who is actually the type of player you should be trying to acquire in your specific league. Someone who is a Top 40 player in a standard 5x5 may not be in several other leagues (points leagues, leagues that don't count RBI or steals, etc.)-- so you'll end up adding players you shouldn't be.
Chris Iannetta was born on Krypton and transported to Earth as an infant and saves the universe when he's not getting on base every plate appearance.
