Yeah I noticed someone posted that afterwards (maybe even you). But I checked all the main prospects and leagues, I didn't feel like checking everyone who had a call up and did it at 2/3 diff levels. I stand corrected, so I guess Gordon is the 2nd ... though he is certainly the 1st of the bigger named prospects to do it and was a bit more unexpected as a 3B.

Adam Dunn would be lucky to field his position as a DH. ;)

Answer 1 and 2 are no good because Shealy and Huber have those postions down. There's also Butler who is probably best off as a DH, but will have to settle for being a crappy outfielder. Lubanski is also an outfielder (although I don't really think he'll be anything special as a player if he actually makes it as a regular in the big leagues). Oh, Maier's an outfielder too, right?

Should be interesting to see what they do.

If were going to do this.....

2008 Royals.....

C Buck/Tupman (possibly someone not on the team yet)
1B Teahen
2B hopefully someone not on the team yet
3B Gordon
SS Berroa/Blanco (PLEASE GOD, someone not on the team yet)
LF DeJesus
RF Butler
CF Gathright
OF4 Costa
OF5 Lubanski/Maier
DH Shealy

1. 2B or Gathright
2. DeJesus
3. Butler
4. Gordon
5. Shealy
6. Teahen
7. Berroa :-o
8. Buck
9. Gathright or 2B

- Huber, Berroa, Blanco, Brown, and 1 of Lubanski or Maier traded

I'm too scared to get into the rotation...... :-o

I honestly don't see Huber or Lubanski or Maiers turning into anything too special

C-Buck(or Huber, nah, I'm kidding)
1B-Shealy
2B-please, somebody from a trade
SS-anybody but Andre "Mendoza" Blanco and Angel "and he bobbled the ball" Berroa
3B-Teahen
LF-Dejesus
CF-Gathright-if he figures out how to hit more than in the low .200s
RF-Gordon
DH-Butler
