Players slump. His April wasn't very good either (.269/1hr/6sb). He's on pace though for a .309 average, 22 hr and 49 sb's. The only disappointing part of his line is the 95 run/85 rbi pace but honestly that's not CC...that's a bad offense around him. As that lineup gets better over the next few years he's going to put up some sick numbers. And even this year 12 team mixed leagues would probably roster a guy with a .309/22/95/85/0 line as a 3rd outfielder (maybe a 2nd outfielder for some teams). He's putting up rosterable stats now BEFORE you take the steals into account. When you toss in about 50 sb's that's just sick.

An ordinary slump doesn't account for the shocking lack of SBs. He has just one SB attempt since July 14!

BARRY BONDS on his two rickety knees has more steals over the past month than Crawford!!

I don't mean to dump on Crawford, cuz I like him ... but this is bizarre.

Yeah, I just realized he only has 1 SB the past month too. I could really use one Sunday!!

I'm not sure why he hasn't been running lately, but he should start stealing again soon. I remember he went on a similar streak last year, and then started running again. So hopefully he'll start running again soon.

There is something wrong with him. I was at the game on Friday and he had so many opportunities to steal second and he didnt budge. And with Javy Lopez behind the plate. There has to be something wrong.
