Should I make one more move

Postby ja515y » Thu Aug 03, 2006 6:12 pm

I'm currently hovering around 2nd to 3rd. The guy in 1st has a tough team to beat and has been in 1st most of the year. Could I beat him with my players or should I be aggressive and try to trade A. Soriano and get 2 good players in return?( Starter and replacement outfielder).

Overall, I like your team. If I were you I'd try to move Blalock before he starts his 2nd-half plummet. I'd take Teahan at 3B for a good starter you could get in return. I'm not high on Lester and Radke being your 4th and 5th guys...I'd try to add another arm. Solid closers.

agreed ur only need is pitching, im scared over this carpenter thing, turn ur back 2 end starters for an upgrade maybe bedard, or trade one of them straight up for haren or lowe, it might go through and it might get accepted.

Your team looks solid and if Matsui continues his quick comeback you should have a deep OF when he gets back. Your staff looks deccent so far, but I really would hate to lose Soriano as your lineup looks so stacked with him there. Perhaps try and shop Edmonds around for a decent SP, then when Matsui makes it back you'd be poised for a very good playoff run IMO.

I would trade Ichiro for a SP, or Paplebon for a lesser closer and a good SP.

Please help.
