EDIT: looking at it posted, it doesn't look like it has a border, but it actually does, it's just white and blends in with the forum BG

I love the text and the image of Utley but I don't exactly like the BG and imo, that Phillies logo stands out too much with that BG.

That's kind of what I was thinking too. I played around with it for around 45 minutes and just could never get it anything close to decent.
Anyone have suggestions?

haha yeah i thought something was missin....i like the new bg alot better...i would try seeing how the text would look on the bottom right too...could look better...nice job

Nice stock pic. As for the new BG, I'd try to make it red so it matches the Phillies or something similar to red. IMO, the blue stands out too much. But, definitely a big improvement.

i like the light blue for the bg, you cant have too red in the sig or everything blends too much
