Both would only work if you have spiky blonde hair, though.

Yeah, Saved by the Bell was more or less an early 90's show, but Screech, now he looked like he came out of an 80's time warp back then.

Well, Saved By the Bell began in 1987 and they were out of high school in 1993. I think you could get away with it.

Another good choice would be to go as Mr. 1984 (or some such title.) You could carry around a crappy old video game, a rubiks cube, do a little breakdancing, claim "Greed is Good." You could wear a hypercolor t-shirt.
