Yankees wont make the postseason.
Granted they got abreu but who cares they wont win the East and the wildcard will come from the Central.

P.S. Who saw A-Rods slide the other day when he juked out the tag, that was pretty. But other than that the yankees are done.

I think the Mets have the best chance to win the NL because they have pitching and hitting. If the Sox had gotten some pitching at the deadline then they would be my choice, but they didn't do anything!!! :-P

I cant see the BoSox making the wild card or east at this point, Francona is just a terrible manager.

He was a terrible manager in '04 too, but he won the WS.

I hate him too, but you can't say he doesn't win (even if I could win with that team }:-)

If they can tread water during Varitek's injury (not worried about Nixon, Pena has been great) then I think they'll be in good position to reclaim 1st (or defend it if they can get back on top in the meantime). ;-D
