Are you starting Willis against PIT?

Postby ramble2 » Tue Sep 02, 2003 2:14 am

I haven't made up my mind yet. I'm focused on getting wins, and can take a little bit of a hit in ERA and WHIP (I'm in 1st), but don't want to get hammered, obviously.

I'm starting him in 3 leagues tonight. If he bombs against Pit, I just might have to let him go back to the waiver wire where I found him anyway.

I actually have so many starters already going tonite (Leiter, Hampton, Zito and Pineiro) that I'll have to sit a reliever to get Willis in the lineup.

Would you guy suggest Kim or Graves to ride the pine? (Looper is the third one, but I can't sit him, since he is presently my only closer with a full time job).

I'd sit Kim since they said they don't want him pitching in any pressure situations right now.

The Giles-less Pirates lineup pounded on Dontrelle just last week, so there is still cause for concern.

good luck to those of you still on the D-Train.
