When Greg Maddux enters the Hall of Fame, certainly on the first ballot that he is eligible, will it be as a Cub, Brave, or Dodger? I know that the player gets to decide. Who do you think he will pick?

It almost certainly has to be as a Cub or Brave. I'd be interested to see what you all think Maddux might be thinking...

It should most definitely be as a Brave. All of his best seasons were w/ the Braves, not any of those other teams.

No chance in hell he goes in as anything but a Brave. That's where he spent the bulk of his career and won a World Series title.

players dont choose although they occasionally state their preference which the hall considers.

most definitely a brave. thats the where he spent the bulk of his good years. in atlanta he was famous for pitching well. in chicago he was famous for leaving.

Not even a question here...He will go in as a Brave where he made his name and biggest impression unless he goes on to picth for the Dodgers for another 15 seasons and wins 300+ games there.

I figured Braves, too, but I know he liked the idea of starting and ending his career as a Cub. That made me think maybe he would lean that way. Perhaps it's not his choice anymore.
