Neither of them are particularly good options. Everything I have read has said that Graves and Rietsma are splitting save opps the rest of the year, with Graves likely going into 2004 as the closer. Weathers meanwhile, is splitting saves with Franco and Stanton, plus the Mets probably will give Moreno or Ring some save opps the rest of the way. Neither the Mets or the Reds win enough to make a part time closer worth much. However, since Rietsma is only splitting save opps 2 ways, while Weathers is splitting them 3 or 4 ways, I would stick with Rietsma.

However, are there any better options on waivers, like Riske?

i already have riske and our league is so closer lopsided that no closer other than the tigers or mets is available, but thanks for the advice
