Probably day to day again....
Paul Konerko left in the eighth inning after getting hit above the left elbow by a Scott Dohmann pitch in the sixth. Konerko was taken to a local hospital for X-rays.
Trainer Herm Schneider told Guillen the injury wasn't believed to be serious.
According to White Sox athletic trainer Herm Schneider, through a team spokesman, Konerko was in pain when he first came into the training room, but the injury had quieted down some by the time he left the clubhouse. Konerko was taken for X-rays and could join Jim Thome on the sideline for Wednesday night's series finale.
"I'l try to figure out my lineup for [Wednesday] and see how I'll do it -- maybe [Juan] Uribe is the DH," said Guillen with a laugh, before growing serious again when talking about Konerko. "Hermie said he didn't see anything bad. It hit more muscle than bone, but we will see how he feels tomorrow."
