You are in a 12 team 5X5 Roto League and you have the 7th pick overall. The Following players are off the board:

1. A-Rod
2. Johnson
3. Vlad
4. Schilling
5. Soriano
6. Giambi
7. ?

Who do you pick next?

I will be doing this round by round...think this will be fun

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah....the classic stud pitcher vs. hitter debate. If it were me, I go with Pedro with this pick. You will very possibly get one of those above mentioned offensive studs on the way back, or at least Berkman/Maggs. Just my opinion.....in a 5 x 5 league where OBP is not a consideration, I'd rather have Pedro over Bonds at that pick...

I would think Sosa would have more a couple more votes than what he has now

I wouldn't think that. :-b Sosa is usually around the 10th pick.

Not saying that Sosa should ahead of these guys...just thought the Cub fans here would give him more support seeing that there are a few that liger in these parts.

Pedro

Postby gypsyspot » Sat Feb 22, 2003 3:35 pm

you gotta go with Pedro. He his a cut above all of the other pitchers. There are about ten hitters that are pretty close that you could easily snag in the second (or even third).
I know the future!!!!!!!
