My first instinct is to bench Halladay -- 2-3, 5.19 ERA in the past month. And he faces a very good offense. As for Woody, he's been OK recently, but he faces Prior, whom I'm also starting. I am starting him right now, but I'm very fearful. Any other thoughts?
hope u started hallday also, although i dont know how happy fantasy-wise i am about hallday going CG when there have been signs of him wearing down lately (also, i have a bye this week for our playoffs so i missed out on this gem!)

I'm pissed about the CG too, but thats mostly b/c I didn't start him What sucks more is that one CG could now decide the outcome of my league due to some cheating by the second place team, but thats another story.
I'll admit that I benched Halladay and started Woody.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

At least I had Prior to almost make up for not starting Halladay Except Prior threw way too many pitches and I really need a CG which Halladay got for my bench.
Woody has been getting shelled lately. Look at his last couple months of starts and you'll see 8-10 hits and 5+ ER in 5 innings or less in too many games to just say 'start Woody' Woody is a start against a weak team or mediocre team with a bad starter.
I've owned him all season and wasn't real surprised by his awesome start Woody has pitched well as a Cardinal. I've been saying since the All-Stqart break he looks like he is getting tired. He bucked the injury bug so far, but his run is over. He's a spot starter to me.
I threw Prior, Halladay, and Woody today, but I half expected Woody to get rocked again. I have a comfortable ERA lead, and am right on my innings limit pace so I justified the risk, but Woody is grabbing some bench for a while.
