Not one thing there to like. It's one thing to get rid of dead weight, but when you get absolutely nothing back, for now or the future, it just makes me want to

Nady is the same player as Wilson, except worse. Littlefield probably could have had at least two good prospects in ST before Tracy ruined his value.

Chacon? Shawn Chacon? Yeah...that is an upgrade.

Two minor leaguers of very, very questionable value....not good.

Overall, a real success.

The only way this deadline would have been a success in my book is if we actually traded some good players (say Grabow or Capps plus another player) to Colorado for Shealy. He is supposedly an impact player at 1B, something the Pirates desperately need. I am not sold on Eldred one bit, but apparently DL is.

Everything we got back is the same crap we get every year for guys we can't or won't keep. It's sad. I can't wait until next year to see what retreads they fill in the holes left by Chacon, Randa, and Burnitz. If it's anyone over the age of 32, I'm going to scream...again.
