I really don't know what the Nats are thinking? If TB got Guzman for Lugo there had to be better offers on the table than what they will get in the draft next year.

Terrible move that's going to haunt them for awhile, come on the offers that Tejada get you have to think he got offers as good, if not better.

Hope they enjoy those draft picks

Tejada is signed through 2009 at a more than reasonable price by current market standards. His price was high because the team getting him could keep him for awhile. Soriano is a 2 month rental. They still should have gotten something for him though.

If they were offered Garza and Baker, I can't imagine them looking for a better offer. Not sure what GM was looking for but those are a couple good young pitchers
