2nd DFA to St. Louis this year. Wow...Weaver, Belliard, Sosa...Cards sure are pushing for a championship.

I hate Cardinals ownership so much right now...they have the money, they just like it too much to spend on players.

Sorry, for a while I could only find it on radio in StL, and StL forums (which have been down on and off for hours). Here's the official release:

ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals completed a two-player trade this afternoon, as the Braves sent right-handed pitcher Jorge Sosa to the Cardinals in exchange for right-handed relief pitcher Rich Scalamandre.

The Cardinals acquired Jorge Sosa from the Braves for minor-league pitcher Rich Scalamandre, according to ESPN. Sosa, who is 3-10 with a 5.46 ERA in 26 games (13 starts) this year, will pitch in a middle relief role for the Cards.
