That is helpful. Even if Maddux is now a middling #3 or so starter, he adds some nice depth and important playoff experience to a team that largely lacks it.

i believe this is still just a rumor correct? i heard it on ESPN like 10 min ago but they said nothing has been heard of it since...and if it is true who are the cubbies getting in return? minor leaguers?
