Xavier Nady going to the Pirates for Oliver Perez and Roberto Hernandez? That confirmed?

SI.com is reporting that the Mets have traded Xavier Nady to the Pirates from Oliver Perez and Roberto Hernandez.

That can't be it, unless Dave Littlefield is an even worse GM than we throught. Nady is no more than an average corner outfielder offensively and he's below average defensively. He's not at all a building block, and he certainly isn't worth Perez's potential.

How much fantasy value with Roberto Hernandez carry with the Mets, especially in holds leagues? Compare his worth to say, fellow recently-traded reliever Mike MacDougal, now setting up Jenks in Chicago.

Does Hernandez become the primary set-up man for Wagner now, or do those duties go to Heilman (if he isn't traded)?

No idea if he will but I like the deal. Will miss X but excited to have Robo back especially with Sanchez done. Milledge gets more playing time now and then they get the potential of Perez. If anyone can fix him the Horse Whisperer can. ;-)
