Maybe its something in the air. Its happening in pre-season football too!
By the way, Madison, are you in the Football Cafe also?
Yes, I sure am. Screen Name is.......get ready for it.........here it comes..........Madison! How convenient, huh. Lol. No, I'm not a mod over there, at least not yet anyway. Lol. I'll probably be a lot more active over there after baseball season ends.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Yeah, my only post over there so far is in the Rate my Team section, where all I got was confirmation that my team sucks at the RB position.
"One of the teams represents truth, justice, the American way, and underdogs everywhere. The other represents George Steinbrenner!" - U.S. News and World Reports columnist John Leo on the difference between the Mets and the Yankees.
I was at the game when this happened. I thought it was a little awkward how the Phillies lined up to give each other high-fives right beside Reyes while he was writhing in agony. Like 4-5 ft away from him. A few Phillies players looked concerned but it was still somewhat surreal. I would have been more offended but you can't say much against the Phillies when half the fans in the stadium simply got up and left since the game was over. I'm no die-hard Mets fan but I felt I had to stay until Reyes was taken away. It wasn't even that long either. Maybe a 5-10 minute wait after the last play.
Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first, the lesson afterwards.

I still haven't reached 100 posts over there yet. Hard to believe, huh? Lol.

In a slow-pitch softball game it would probably be considered low class to high-five a win right in front of an injured guy, but for some reason high-paid major leaguers are above everybody else. They are allowed to be shitty people and no one is allowed to question it. I'm sure the Phillies didn't lose any sleep over it, and well, as for the Mets, they probably were upset they'll lose some playing time while he's still a cheap investment.
Sep 1 Updating previous reports, the Sports Network reports New York Mets SS Jose Reyes (ankle) has been advised to sit for the next three weeks by team doctors.
Doesn't seem good for Reyes. Wonder if he will take the doctor's advice?
