He messed up his left ankle sliding into second base on the double play that ended the game. He was clutching the ankle in pain immediately, and had to be driven off the field on a stretcher.
Details will be sketchy until there are x-rays, but it didn't look good. Best case scenario, he twisted the ankle badly. But with the pain he looked like he was in, I wouldn't rule out a break.

Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Jose Reyes is Superman. This is just a ploy to mess up a diabolical scheme. I just wanted to say diabolical.... Sprained ankle, not too severe. He'll be out a little while (two weeks is my guess).
"The bad news is that Reyes suffered a Grade 2 sprain and though he is listed as day-to-day," according to MLB.com, "it didn't appear likely that he would be back in the lineup any time soon."
I dropped him already. My playoffs start tomorrow, and even when he comes back, he probably won't be running as much.
