I missed a few pages in the middle of this thread, so maybe it's in there...but I haven't seen anyone on here talking about Belliard goig to the Cards. Any projections from here on out for him?

Apparently there's a lot of talk involving Oswalt coming to the Mets.

If he actually started getting some Wins, that'd be freaking awesome. :-L :-L :-L

The rumor I read was that it was Milledge to Baltimore, Tejada to Houston and Oswalt to the Mets. As much as I love Milledge that would have been awesome. Although I can understand Baltimore nixing that, as is rumored, since it doesn't seem like enough for Tejada.

At this point, even if Linebrink is healthy and the rumor is false, it seems slim that he gets traded to the Mets. Mets are at the bottom of the waiver list and I'm sure some other team would make a claim.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
