With 4 balls it's not so much a walk but a shimmy.

I'll be around in the off-season. My friend and I developed a new flexible keeper league system using contract years. It's really cool, it lets managers keep different number of players for different number of years. You can trade them, you can barter with them, etc. My friend and I tried to come up with a system that captures some of the decisions that a real life GM must make in offering contracts to his players.

I'm looking forward to getting some discussion going on it as I develop it further. I'd actually like to run some simulated seasons with mock multiple year drafts to give my system a test run.

I figure it will be a good off-season time burner for the cafe. I'd like the opinions of the hard-core fantasy baseball nut when they aren't distracted by things like, oh, say, the baseball season.

I might even inspire a few of you folks to adopt the system for your leagues. Maybe we'll start one up with Cafe folks. I'm telling you, it's gonna be good!
