I like it better than the first one. I suggest trying to blend the bg with the players a little bit more. Other than that not bad for your 2nd time.

I agree. I also don't care for the lines under the font. I would suggest following some tutorials. They've helped me out a lot in understanding what PS can do. I kinda followed this one http://www.box.net/public/static/g6zzrz78uy.wmv that chargersfan36 posted to make the sig below. It was a good tutorial.

Yeah I agree with kaveman on the underlines. I don't think you really need them with the font that you have. If you do decide to keep them maybe you could blend them in some. Other than that it's a nice job. I like the bg color.
