Thanks to Yahoo and their inability to get things right, I did not remove him from my lineup because it showed him playing.

Between Yahoo and my underperforming "studs" (Wright, Pujols, Crawford), I'm beginning to get a complex.

he hyperextended it on friday with a swing. he played yesterday and was a last minute scratch from the game today. so it does not sound too serious. more precautionary than anything. the announcers didnt say anyone was too concerned.

Can't be too serious, he piched hit in the 7th today and even stayed in the game to play 1B. Ended the game with a weak pop-up to 3B.

Per Yahoo:

Jul 31 ESPNews reports St. Louis Cardinals 1B Albert Pujols (elbow) will have an MRI on his hyperextended right elbow today. It's the same elbow that he tore three years ago and was unable to throw for the rest of the year. [/quote]

ROFL...that would just about end my season if he went down now. Glad I just made a deal with next year in mind.

I just traded crawford and schmidt to get him for the stretch run. Does anybody have any info on this? Are they just putting that statement about three years ago for fun, or is this possibly season ending.
