My Hot Hitter For Next Week

Postby fungerburke » Sun Jul 30, 2006 3:09 am

Khalil Greene. He's a second half hitter and he just received his jump start at Coors this weekend where he always hits well. I look for four homers from Greene this week.

Of course I'll also look for egg in the face if he stinks! :-B

This wouldn't suprise me being that Greene has been really hot as of late, raising his batting average from .227 to .263 over the course of July while hitting .376 over that span. Now he just has to find his power stroke.

I'd feel safer giving him 2 or 3 home runs for this week, but 4 isn't out of the question (neither is 0)

But I'm rooting for him cause he is on several of my fantasy teams ;-D
go 49ers!!!!!

Did you notice he's on a Homestand, where his production historically takes about a 50% hit?

no offense but unless you really have a legitimate reason for giving out advice such as this i wouldn't do was just stated his productivity usually takes a nosedive during homestands and that should have been taken into consideration

his final stats this week look like this:
2 for 14, 7 K's, 1 RBI, 0 SB's, and a .143 avg/obp

i appreciate people trying to be helpful but unless you really know what you are doing then keep it to yourself...some advice can be more harmful then helpful (as was the case here)
