How can he stay with the Nats? They're not in the playoff race and they're losing him after this season anyway. They would be stupid not to get something in return for him.

He already stated a week or two ago that he would prefer to stay with the Nats. It's not up to him though, if Bowden gets a deal he likes, Soriano will be gone.

Just because it's obvious they should move him, doesn't mean they will. I've seen bigger boneheaded moves before.
