Hamels was removed from the game in the 8th inning after a line drive hit off the bat of Joe Borchard hit him in his leg. Don't know anything else at this point.

if anyone has an update please tell....if it's a broken leg (hopefully for his sake it's not) it'll be real unfortunate...he finally seems to be putting it all together.

He had thrown 99 pitches through 7 innings and his team was up 9 runs...I cant believe they had him out there for the 8th...He was on pitch 115 when he got hurt!...Simply un-fucking-believable

99 pitches and people are crying! This is ridiculous. :-P

He hasnt pitched all that much in the last few years and not all that much this year. The Phils aren't going anywhere this year, and Hamels needs to get his work in and learn to pitch in the majors.
