Is his wrist still bothering him? He has not been the same since he has been back from the DL.
I am thinking about looking for another catcher.

I dropped him earlier this week.

Varitek, Piazza, and LoDuca were among the catchers available as FA in my league, and I saw them all as upgrades over Willingham. I ended up picking up Varitek, but may be switching things up with Estrada, who was just dropped by another manager.

I say drop him and don't look back. His stats and playing time have both been way too inconsistent for a fantasy starter. Even if you have to mix-and-match and just ride the hot bats for the rest of the year at catcher, you should be able to find a contingent who will outproduce Willingham easily.

Lo Duca or Piazza are two great FA catchers out there. McCann should be gone in any mixed league and if not, grab him ASAP.
