He missed a game on Wednesday after getting hit in the hand during BP...I noticed he's not starting today. How bad is this injury...does anyone know? WHIR

It's not too bad -- jammed thumb. Probably back in on Saturday or Sunday latests, according to friends Jim Price and Dan Dickerson on the broadcast tonight.

According to Yahoo's lineups, Pudge is not starting tonight.

He must really be ailing or the Tigers are being careful with him, because Pudge absolutely owns Brad Radke.

Pudge may miss whole Twins series

MINNEAPOLIS -- Pudge Rodriguez tried to throw today, but his bruised right thumb was just too sore. He's not playing tonight, and right now it looks doubtful for Sunday, too.
