does this have anything to do with the fact that the mets are facing a lefty tonight? granted its horacio ramirez, who isn't really that good, but delgado has been terrible against lefties this year. could this be a recurring trend for the rest of the year?

Carlos is fine, I think this is going to become the norm for Willie to rest the older regulars once a week or so from here on out.

it didn't look too bad (hit on the side/back of the knee) and Randolph didn't seem too fazed by it. Definately no broken bones or contusions or staph infections or anything like that.

I took him out today, thinking he wouldn't be in the lineup. Hit a 2-run shot in the 1st. :-[
