I like the 2nd one better. You can see the brushes (or whatever they are) and the bg a lot clearer. I like the text color and the shadow thing below it. Personally, I think it might look better with more text but that's just me. Great job.

I like the 2nd one of the two.. the first is too dark..

But Jeters neck kinda makes him look like ET too me.. could just be im wicked tired right now and falling asleep as I look at it.. but it just seems really thin

Like the lighter, 2nd one more. I'd try and make the text just slightly more visible, and maybe just a tad larger, to cover more surface area on the left side. Very nice job, though.
