You usually don't want the WHIR guys to HIR. So be careful!
Chris Iannetta was born on Krypton and transported to Earth as an infant and saves the universe when he's not getting on base every plate appearance.

me, too. basically it's someone saying, they have no clue on what they should do with their team, but you want them running yours?

there's some exceptions... if you're curious about a player that you've seen stat lines but no games and don't know if his numbers are real or not, i always appreciate input from someone who watches their games locally. but otherwise, i tend to deliver my gospel and then keep my own counsel.

the best are the ones such as, "I was just offered Albert Pujols for Brad Radke. I'm kind of thin at pitching, but should I take it, anyways?" I keep going back-and-forth whether there's someone really that clueless or if they're just putting these fake trades up there on the boards to make my life miserable that I don't have their moron in my leagues.

Just because you're asking a question at the Cafe doesn't neccesarily mean you're stupid. Often (at least when I do these kinds of posts) you have your own opinion going in, but you'd like to hear some other opinions before making a move. You're flip-flopping on a tough decision, it helps to hear others chime in. It can help you think things through, and sometimes you'll realize something you didn't before asking for help.

Of course, some posts with "WHIR" have questions that are blatantly stupid. If I'm bored and/or feeling generous I might answer the question, but I'll leave out a link to my question. Like if someone needs to ask if that Pujols for Radke deal is a good one, I think I can get by without their insights into my own questions.

I think the DTWK forum is generally the worst place for helpful information for your fantasy team.
