In my keeper league (we keep 5), I'm trying to deal him for a middle of the road closer (Benitez). I'd rather have two months from Benitez than what Harden will do the rest of this season.

With only one IR spot, I dropped him (after shopping him to no avail) and held onto Matsui. All things considered, I'd rather have an ace than a very good OF, but Harden seemed less likely to pay ANY dividends this year. Amazingly, after two weeks, he's still on the WW. If you need the room, I think you're safe in cutting him loose.

I just traded him, straight-up, for Bedard in a keeper pool. I think that's the best ROI I'm going to get for him at this point...

I'm a huge Harden fan -- I've had him on my keeper since his ML debut. But I'll be throwing him back. He's just too fragile to pitch a full season. I want to turn my problem into someone elses.

If you're in a redraft, you should really try to move him now. Wait a little longer and it'll become apparent to everyone in your league that he's not coming back. Sell him correctly now and someone might believe that they'll get an ace for the stretch/playoffs.

I traded him + spare parts for Pettitte a week ago. Not a great return, but I don't think he's coming back.

It's July 27th today. If he came back tomorrow, he'd need 2 weeks of long toss...that takes us to August 10th. From there he'd need 2 weeks to make 3 rehab starts...that takes us to August 24th. So best case scenario, he pitches for 5 weeks.

i dropped him as well... we only have one DL spot, so i dropped harden and added matsui, i think matsui could come back strong, and i dont have time to wait for harden, i really dont think hell come back this season...

I'm in a 12 team keeper league (we keep 4) and I've tried shopping him to the two teams that are definitely out of it this year, but no luck. They didn't want anything to do with him this year or next ... and one guy does not have quality keepers. I might try a few other teams in the opposing division, but I'm close to cutting him. I have Lee and Kent eligible for the DL right now and if one of them has a setback it will seal Harden's fate as I will need another bench player to get me through the rest of the season.

So much for my second round pick! And I took Lee with the first overall pick in my expansion draft. What a waste!
