We have an AL and a NL, without a World Series at the moment but we can probably add one next year. 14 teams in each and since nobody would probably want Pittsburgh, they were put in the draft. Also, we have a $100 million cap and because of that the Yanks were put in the draft because it would be near impossible to manage them without giving away all your best players. We will soon have a NL team that will be part of the AL (if you would want to switch then tell me that). Also we allow trading players but a owner taking part of a big contract of a player. [Like Philly did in the Thome deal}
Before the draft you can trade. A week before the draft you have to protect 13 players and the players you didn’t will go into the draft. It is a 5 round draft and most of the remaining teams have a high spot in the draft. Also, minor leagues are included and the Yanks +Pirates minors’ league draft will be next year.
Only things required are you must have AIM or AOL and be active. We are looking for really good GMs. This is a FREE league for 2007. And it is a leagues that is multiyear.
