Broussard to Mariners

Postby converge241 » Wed Jul 26, 2006 5:34 pm

According to MLB.com, the Mariners have acquired Ben Broussard from the Indians for outfielder Shin-Soo Choo. Jul. 26 - 5:32 pm et

not a HUGE deal but in deeper league broussard might be worth a look if he gets a regular spot (im guessing at DH and then spell sexson when needed)

he has shown flashes here and there

Hmmm, since Broussard got traded, do you think that Hafner could get 1 game at 1B maybe if Garko isn't ready or something. :-B :-B

1 game by Hafner at first base would be INCREDIBLE.

Choo was an above average prospect, I am surprised the M's part with his talent for a 30 year old platoon player... :-?

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!
