I don't want any of that trash, I want something of value for Shealy.
why in the world are we trying to unload Berroa for? I don't personally like him(he's way better than Barmes) but he's not that expensive and the backup plan as far as I know is Andres Blancos, who's hitting a brilliant .215 in AAA Omaha
Woah, Berroa being way better than anybody? way better than Barmes? Berroa has been the worst player statistically in the majors last year and again so far (last time i checked) this year according to Runs Created, which takes affect offense and defense and shows the true worth of a player to their team
shealy gets traded to the royals. What do people expect of him? Do you think he could make a dan johnson or ryan howard like impact of last year? Obviously i dont expect him to hit 22 hrs like howard but hes got a huge offensive upside. I'm in a 16 team league and thinking about pickin him up, what are peoples thoughts???
dude huber is in the minors. Dont you think with shealy already being called up and stairs getting traded that there is a chance shealy gets the full-time DH or 1B spot???

Dude, Huber has been mishandled and should be starting over Minny. KC has a problem with being overloaded with corner IF. (mainly 1B) Sweeney (over-paid and oft-injured) is coming back, Butler, Gordon, Teahan, Huber, & now Shealy. Add on Minny who could be easily DFA you have a huge log jam.

dude, Huber is trying out in the OF now. Gordon is not getting the call up anytimes soon, Sweeney just got hurt again in rehab(though a minor one), Minny sucks with the bat, there's no telling if Teahen's bat will keep up. If they all pay off, we can still move them around. Shealy will be the DH/1B starting tomorrow
Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.

thanks for the much more intelligent insight guys. what do you think he'll be capable of this year? Should i look at picking him up in a deep mixed league? He seems to be the biggest winner from the trades today...

Well, Shealy has tried playing the OF and couldn't cut it and Butler is a DH and not a great OF. He's blocked by Sweeney. Sanders (should have been moved) is signed through 2007 blocks Butler, Huber has no place in the future KC outfield with Gathright, Dejesus, Butler/Sanders while Sweeney is signed through 2007. Sorry, it doesn't fit unless some moves are made.
