Havok, you hit the nail on the head. Is this strong young class of 2B (Barfield, Kinsler, Kendrick, Phillips, Castillo, Uggla, J. Lopez, Sanchez, Cano) ready to supplant some of the older vets (Giles, Kent, Roberts, Durham, Iguchi) in the top 10?
i would say they look something like this.. without soriano or figgins..
1utley
2weeks
3phillips (unerrated, hes a lot better version of marcus giles)
4uggla (on the downfall but still nice)
5iguchi (should produce huge runs with a 15-15 hr 2b ratio)
6cantu (could end up higher if he turns it on)
7sanchez(he will fall, just give it time)
8lopez(pitchers ballpark)
9giles(getting worse every year)
10kent(almost done.)

Hall only has 4 games at 2b so far this year, and with Hardy out for the year, the chances of Hall getting another start at 2b are slim.
booo to loretta being a top 10 2B. And if you drafted roberts for Hrs that was your own fault. Heres my list...
1. Utley
2. figgins
3. weeks
4. roberts
5. phillips
6. sanchez
7. uggla
8. kent
9. giles
10. kendrick
kent and giles i would expect bounce back years, you gotta give them credit for what they've done in the past. And i think once kendrick gets some regular playing time he'll really show case what he can do. Others i expect to have good years next year include: Kinsler, Barfield, iguchi...
I would drop Lorretta down quite a bit in the rankings. His offense this year comes (in part) from hitting infront of Manny and Papi. Dustin Pedroia will most likely be handed seconbase in spring training and Lorretta will sign for too much money in some market.
Yeah, I agree with everyone saying that Brandon Phillips is underrated!
HR RBI BB SB BA OBP SLG
Phillips 8 49 23 18 0.2910 0.3380 0.4211
Weeks 8 34 30 19 0.2786 0.3625 0.4039
Don't get me wrong, I am from Mil-town and I love Weeks and think he will only get better, but right now, Phillips hits for a little better average and drives in more runs.
Josh Barfield is a .300 hitter -- while hitting 8th in the NL -- who will steal 20-25 bags this season. Next season, he'll hit leadoff increasing his runs scored, and most likely, stolen base totals. All this from a 23 year old; he has to be considered a top ten 2 bagger for 2007.

Homer?
Also, I'm gonna love you guys drafting Uggla and Phillips and letting Cantu fall to me as the number 7 or 8 2b taken.
