What power?
I expected him to hit more dingers than he has.

So with a bad wrist you expect him to hit more hr's than when his wrist was healthy?

Ya neveh know. Could happen. 8-o

Sounds pretty bad...

Weeks injured a tendon while waggling a bat on the bench before batting practice earlier in the week, yet another blow to a team already rife with weird injuries.

Yost, who is prone to understating injuries, has called Weeks' injury "irritation." But indications from other sources are that it's much more serious than that, and a trip to the disabled list remains a possibility.

"It's somewhat similar to J.J.'s, where the tendon is loose," Melvin said. "You have to tighten that tendon up. It's how tough you are, and how much [pain] you can put up with. Rickie has such a hard swing, I don't know if he can put up with it."

JJ had season ending surgery. Not saying that Rickie will, just that Yost is comparing the injury to JJ's.

Just the other day he was "available to pinch hit" but now they're talking like it's really serious. I don't think anybody knows what's really going on.

The only thing I know for sure is that the Brewers just picked up David Bell from the Phillies and Rickie Weeks is heading to the DL to make a roster spot open for him. This is what Doug Melvin said they would "probably do" during an interview at tonight's game.

kendrick
hundson
1 from MIN: punto, castillo, cuddyer are all eligible for 2B in yahoo.
