Those are his final numbers. They pulled him after 7 innings.
Even Torii Hunter has commented that he should be brought up.
He sure is building up a lot of hype. I'm glad a grabbed him when he was still in AA, or else I wouldn't have gotten him.

In our keeper league, we can only get players who get into Yahoo! and I have the highest priority of the Top 8 teams in the league. I'm hoping the other 4 teams don't really follow their teams or players much once they call him up (if they do). I was able to add Upton, so maybe I can get Garza, too. }:-)
Chris Iannetta was born on Krypton and transported to Earth as an infant and saves the universe when he's not getting on base every plate appearance.

Garza got promoted to the Twins after Liriano's injury. (ESPN reporting)

He'll probably start on Friday

I thought they promoted him to replace Smith? Did Liriano hit the DL?

This is the reason I hate Yahoo!... Zobrist (TB-SS) isn't even in Yahoo yet (after about 10 games?), and Garza won't be until a few days after his start. Takes too long :-t

Not yet, but it's inevitable.

My point was that if Liriano didn't get hurt, they may not have felt the pressure to bring Garza up and salvage their chances at the wildcard.

I know there was pressure to bring up Garza, but if everyone was healthy, I don't think Garza would have been brought up for another few weeks.

While yes, I'd prefer Yahoo to have much deeper benches (and why I used Sportsline for my keeper league)...

....the upside to waiting until a player plays before they add him to the database is that it gives everyone an equal shot of getting the player (with lowest waiver first).

It's one of the things I hate most about fantasy football. Someone just sits there on Sunday by their computer and picks up every player who is breaking out, or gets a job through injury.

By rewarding people who get the news first or who happen to be sitting by their computer all the time, it gets kind of annoying.

Thanks Galt, I'm trying to get info on Liriano. All I'm getting is that it's muscular. It would be nice to get a preview of a
Santana, Liriano and Gaza rotation.
