He had off Sunday and Monday, yet up by two Coffey came in to pitch the ninth for the Reds.

Yikes...i know...he was on a roll, 5 saves since the break I think...was making me look good for dropping Wickman...hope hes ok

Not only that, when Coffey got into a small spot of trouble, two on two out, Bray came in to finish it out for the save.

I can only imagine that Guardado has some injury, as he has pitched well since coming to the Reds.

Guardado said flared up on him in his last appearance Saturday and it still didn't feel right after he tested in Tuesday. Still, he thinks he'll be ready to pitch on Wednesday. If not, maybe Todd Coffey or Bill Bray will get the save chance.

"Everyday" Eddie didn't pitch the ninth for the save against the Braves on Saturday. Speculation is that Guardado did not pitch because he had thrown twenty-something pitches on Friday night -- despite the fact that it was the only game he had pitched in a week!

Grr...

Bray got the save.
