Why did Bush pitch MR again? Man, I hope Milwaukee isn't being stupid and taking away one of my solid, middle of the rotation fantasy starters

He is useless to me if he is going to be a middle reliever.

you would think maybe yost would stop this and just have him thrown in the bullpen instead of ina game again........

It's a too clever by half move like thinking Schill would make a great closer last year.

As I mentioned in the game commentary forum, Bush is still their 5th starter, but will occasionally make these middle relief appearances because of off days.

Tiki, I get your point, but you don't ordinarily see starters used this way. To me, it still begs the question, "WTF?"

I don't really agree with it either, but the main advantage of it is to keep your 4 other pitchers on their normal throwing routines, and only 1 pitcher (Dave Bush) will be screwed up by the off days.
