He was brilliant tonight! 7 innings/5k's/0BB...looked real rusty the first 2 innings, where he gave up 5 hits and a home run to Jeromy Burnitz, but really settled down after that. His patented in the dirt breaking ball started working in the 3rd and was absolutely lights out after that. Struck out 5 the last 4 innings and threw 94 pitches...
With Thursday off for the Brewers, are we looking at a 2-Start week for Sheets next Monday starting with Home at Colorado? I have to wait until Monday to activate him in my league so that would be awesome, I hate to miss out on anymore starts.

I recall someone else mentioning this in another Sheets thread, possibly in this same forum.

I remember someone mentioning this week but didn't catch the one about next week, I'll look harder. Thanks for the info.
Very nice outing by Sheets! I saw the game and after the first two shaky IP he was lights-out. He had 1-2 and 2-2 counts on a number of hitters that ended up grounding out or popping out. He easily could have had an extra 2 or 3 K. Plus, he even threw his new cutter a few times with success.
The best news, though, is he said his arm felt good after the game.
I am the Master. Don't question the Master. Just do what he says and be proud.

Sheets is actually slated to go Sunday against Cincy, according to cbssportsline.
