Closer question....

Postby Gold Rush » Tue Jul 25, 2006 9:39 pm

Who becomes closer if Tom Gordon gets traded? If he does get traded, and they don't get a good reliever in return, I want to jump the gun on my fantasy leagues by already have the guy that will replace him.

At first thought, I had Rhodes pegged as the closer in waiting, but then I looked at his ERA and figured that they wouldn't make like the Brewers and relieve a struggling closer for a struggling reliever.
So now I'm thinking that Cormier might be the closer if Gordon were to get traded, but he isn't "closer material".

This is where the Cafe comes in, cause they always have the inside scoop on things...
go 49ers!!!!!
